Each year the Morton Cross Country Team closes out the regular season by hosting a team retreat. Team members get to enjoy eachother's company while sharing in meals, games, and general team camraderie. This year's retreat will be at Eastbay Camp in Bloomington.
Following the Galesburg Invite the Morton Cross Country Team has a cookout at located at Lake Storey Park (site of the Galesburg Invite). This is a chance for athletes and their familes to socialize and celebrate the beginning of the cross country season.
Proper nutrition and caloric intake are important for the success of our athletes. Each meet parents can sign up to bring a snack for the team.
A few times a season the cross country team will meet at Grundy Elementary to share a meal before a Saturday Invite. Parents can sign up to provide food the event.
